Rob, What's the reason for the late substitution? I know u have all the time in the world being on paternity. Let me know what we r going to do here boys. Up to u guys. Tom would probably like Elias' pts at the beginning of the yr and I would have liked hemsky's pts and anytime sub back for November. U guys let me know if u guys r good with late subs so we can adjust the pts accordingly for everybody

Vic, I was busy with my son and wasn't able to get the subs in . If 1200 is the official hr, then your subs were late as they posted at 1201pm.
Regardless, none of my involved players played yesterday, and none were injured ... Let me know what the deal is, because if my changes don't go in, neither do yours being you posted after 12pm ... I need to know before 7pm bzc ill be putting Nash in for lecavalier as an injury sub if my changes from the 1st don't go thru.
Btw, what you did w Jeff carter was so obvious and the reason it did not go thru ... You made your changes b4 noon on nov 1, then found out carter was inj later in the aft as that's when that info evolved... You then tried to make the switch knowing it was abt 5 hrs after the deadline, and knowing he was injured.... Big difference from my changes, although after noon, none are injured, and none played the day of....boys let me know what the deal is.
AGAIN, I'm fine if my switches don't go thru, but if we are applying the letter of the law here, then Vic's changes don't go thru either.

Agreed Brian that would have been 1:00pm. I agree on making it before the 1st game on the 1st of the month. If not in then your team stays the same as the month before.

Eventhough I was busy making changes for every team but mine on officepools and can prove it by pulling up transactions and times yesterday and made my changes at 12:00 pm but when it went through it turned to 12:01. I'm good with following the rules and leaving my guys in. Rules r rules and they should be followed. 

I changed my team and put back in tlusty and berglund. I did rob's injury sub as well

Haha is exactly right... Of course Vic will make the changes for both our teams ... He is out of the pool and the changes have no bearing on his team. Ironically Vic asked for a decision from the "boys",yet made the decision on his own without decisive answers one way or another from the "boys" he refers to....fckn pathetic!!! Apparently he makes decisions now for the entire pool !

I'm still waiting for a vote from the 7 other gms ... Whatever way it goes is fine, just not allowing Vic to make the decision on his own...so "boys", please either say "yes" changes are implemented, or "no" changes were late and do not go in.

Ok boys make ur decisions on what u guys want to do. If we're making changes for Rob, let me know so everybody can be treated equally. Tom gets his Elias sub at the beginning of the yr and I get my Hemsky sub. Everybody needs to and should be treated equally. Post which way we should go. Either Rob doesn't get his sub or we all get our subs or we follow the rules and make the time change to game time for next year.

I was allowed to make my changes the very first day when I got back from Vegas late.

I believe rules are rules................but sometimes in life, certain things come up that are more important than a hockey pool that we all take part of for fun (except for Vic who is in it to win money, cause his current job doesn't pay enough???)

I would like to see the time changed from noon to the start of the first game. this way it gives everyone almost another entire day to make their rosters.

but..........I also don't like changing rules in the middle of a season.
